Application Process

Technical assistance will be provided to assist with the grant application process, implementation, and tracking of grant activities to ensure requirements are met and businesses are using funds appropriately.

  1. Complete qualification questionnaire. The application process is currently closed.
  2. Mandatory orientation to explain grant process and requirements (first required cohort meeting)
  3. Completed application.
    • Completed business plan
    • Statement of need or challenge to be addressed by proposal
    • Detailed of use of funds, showing amount requested on application
      • Examples of allowable expenses include infrastructure/equipment purchases or repairs, advertising or marketing, inventory purchases, etc.
      • List any other funding allocated to the project and identify its source
      • Provide documentation assuring that the project is viable, costs have been accurately projected
      • Proof of ownership and business type
      • Two most recent years of tax returns
      • Proof of insurance; if no insurance, provide explanation and demonstrate willingness to obtain
  4. Completed online applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
    • Mail or hand-deliver completed application packet by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 to:
