Community Hub

The Flint & Genesee Small Business Support Hub’s Community Hub is a resource for businesses that are located in communities that are defined as SEDI or Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individuals.

Participating small businesses have access to a variety of resources – including local requests for proposals, or RFPs; small business events and trainings; capital opportunities and more – via the Community Hub in the Startup Space app and website.

This service is available to all small businesses in Genesee County.

Business Bridge

The Flint & Genesee Business Bridge is an online directory for small businesses in Genesee County that are owned by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). By joining the Business Bridge, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow BIPOC business owners, larger organizations, and community members who are eager to support BIPOC-owned businesses. The platform also provides access to non-government contract opportunities and offers networking events and training sessions.

Signing up is free — and it’s an excellent way to expand your network and grow your business.
