Why Government Contracting?

Government procurement and contracting provides you an opportunity to diversify, stabilize, and grow your business. Each year federal, state, and local agencies spend hundreds of billions of dollars with businesses, large and small, on goods and services. Doing business with the government can provide your business with ongoing and recurring income. Many contracts have consecutive year terms that help businesses through slow months. Government contracting is also a good way to start or sustain a small business, as small businesses often have a competitive advantage when it comes to bids. Hub-zone, WOSB, Disabled Veterans, and 8(a) minority companies also have an advantage. Doing business with the government is also a great way to introduce your business to a new marketplace.
