Two-Lane Fast Pitch Competition

Small business owners in Genesee County have the opportunity to compete in the Two-Lane Fast Pitch Competition and win funding to boost your business. The competition is open to for-profit businesses from Sept. 25, 2024 to Oct. 9, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: The business address and owner’s residential address must both be in Genesee County, Michigan.

TWO TRACKS, TWO BIG PRIZES

STARTUP TRACK
If your business was incorporated less than a year ago, as of Nov. 14, 2024, you can win up to $5,000!

MICRO TRACK
If your business was incorporated over a year ago, as of Nov. 14, 2024, and you have 10 or fewer full-time employees, you’re eligible to compete for up to $10,000!

Please complete all of the questions below to apply for the Two-Lane Fast Pitch Competition. Ensure that you answer every question and upload all required documents. Please note that this competition may necessitate a follow-up meeting to gather additional information on how the funds were utilized to support the growth of your company.

Businesses must be located in, or business owners must reside in, an area classified as low or moderate income by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. To determine if you’re located in an LMI, visit https://geomap.ffiec.gov/ffiecgeomap, enter your address, and select Census Demographic Data (“Tract Income Level” must be low or moderate). 

Applications for the Two-Lane Fast Pitch Competition are now closed.  All applicants will be contacted via email by Monday, October 21, 2024 to let you know if you have or have not been selected to continue.
