Sorensen Gross relocates headquarters to downtown Flint
Sorensen Gross Company announces the relocation of its headquarters office to the Plaza One Building in downtown Flint, joining an existing satellite office and paving the way for future company growth.
The move, which occurred in stages, was largely completed by June 8. Sorensen Gross now occupies three suites on the first floor of the building and has 40 employees based at the location.
While originally founded on the west side of Michigan, Sorensen Gross has been based in the Greater Flint area since 1927 and has long utilized the city’s strategic location to perform work throughout Southeast Michigan and beyond. Sorensen Gross’ most recent location near Bishop International Airport has served it well for several decades, but now the company is excited to take this next step and join the many businesses and organizations in the heart of Flint.
“Leaving a location that has served us well for 54 years is, to say the least, an emotional undertaking; it is however more than mitigated by the excitement of having our headquarters in downtown Flint, a place very dear to us and all our employees,” said Sorensen Gross CEO Ghassan M. Saab.
Sorensen Gross has a long history of supporting local efforts through its construction services, partnerships, and sponsorships. Several landmark buildings in Flint have been built by Sorensen Gross, and many additional rehabilitation and redevelopment efforts were spearheaded by Saab. The company and its staff look forward to the benefits offered by the new proximity to other service providers, partner organizations, and the vibrant dining, arts, and entertainment located nearby.
