We are hosting a Flint SOUP event at First Presbyterian Church of Flint on July 25th!
Doors open at 5:15pm, event officially starts at 5:45pm.
Come listen to 5 presenters, connect with neighbors, meet local entrepreneurs, and enjoy a meal of soup, salad, and bread.
$5 (cash) to attend. 100% of the funds collected during the night go toward the micro-grant that will be awarded at the end of the event.
The presenter with the most votes will receive the micro-grant!
Flint SOUP is an organization that supports entrepreneurs and small businesses in Flint and Genesee County, Michigan. We operate as a micro-granting dinner celebrating and supporting startups and small business. At our events, community members come together, share a meal, and listen to pitches from local entrepreneurs who are looking for funding to support their projects or business ideas. Attendees vote on which pitch they think is the most promising, and the winner receives a micro-grant collected from the 100% of the event’s donations collected at the door.
Flint SOUP’s mission is to equip individuals, strengthen community, and foster a culture of entrepreneurship by providing resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities. This initiative is part of a broader effort to revitalize Flint’s economy and support local innovation and business growth.
