Application Process

The Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance has partnered with Foundant to streamline the application process using Grant Lifecycle Manager. This software will be your personalized portal for the application and reporting process that will be used for the entirety of your grant.

Please follow the instructions below to begin applying for the Small Business Hub Grant. Technical assistance will be provided to assist with the grant application process, implementation, and tracking of grant activities to ensure requirements are met and businesses are using funds appropriately.

Please note that this is a two-part application process. Both parts must be completed by or before the deadline.

  1. Access the Small Business Hub Grant application site.
  2. Create your unique and individual profile using the “Create New Account” button.
  3. Access the Small Business Hub Grant application from available opportunities.
  4. Complete the first part of the two-part application process by answer our Letter of Intent (LOI) questions to determine eligibility.
  5. Once you have submitted your LOI and it is approved by staff, you will receive another email that invites you to complete the full application.
  6. Complete the second part of the two-part application process by completing the full application that was emailed to you.
  7. Complete the LOI questions and full application by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025.
